Follow up series to the classic Storyteller 1. Featuring the voices of much-loved actors, these are now embedded in modern folklore as definitive renditions of time-honoured favourites. Each issue has five or six stories and came originally with an accompanying storybook. They sell like hot cakes so please look carefully to see if we still have the ones you are after. And don't be afraid to ask (by e-mail please).
Each issue contains a rich mixture of classical and original stories, with specially commissioned illustrations from some of the best artists working in children's books at the time (early 80s). The storybook with colouring pages adds charm to this series. A running serial ensures interest is kept across all the issues. For ease of identification, we give the title of just the classic fairy story, though each issue has six or seven separate stories. We also give one or two of the narrators, as they appear.
The condition is not always perfect, especially with the earliest ones. We try to reflect condition in the options and price. In some cases, the storybooks may be in good condition but the colouring-in pages have been spoiled or removed. If these pages are important to you, it's probably best to enquire first.
For information, the figures in brackets after each option give the current stock level. At busy times, we cannot guarantee these figures will be accurate. If we have neither storybook nor cassette, the listing is usually suspended. PLEASE NOTE: If either the storybook or the tape shows availability zero then the tape+storybook option is NOT AVAILABLE.
If you are not quite sure, please use 'Contact' to ask for more detail and we'll do our best to answer.
