Since first listing this series, we have discovered there were at least 5 releases. The earliest release was housed in binders with a gold edging and a title The Unexplained (just that) on the front cover in letters about 1cm high. The later release was a complete re-vamp, with articles re-sequenced and lots more colour photos. The binders for this release have the title in much larger letters across the full width of the binder, and the sub-title 'Mysteries of Mind, Space and Time' underneath. Collectors of the first release were encouraged to remove the magazine covers - a common practice with Orbis publications - so that the page numbers would flow in sequence within the binders. Individual parts were then filed using flat metal strips passed through the staples.
