Orbis Series from 1992 and 1996
The fascination with these monsters from the past continues unabated.
There are 104 issues in the full series. It was released more than once, in 1992 and 1996. You can tell the difference by the cover price: £1 on the earliest release, £1.50 on the second release. As far as we can tell, the contents are identical in both releases. The covers of the earlier issues have a satin finish and the later ones a gloss finish.
1- 18 of the £1.50 series had free gifts with them : a model of a Tyranasaurus Rex and Swap cards, these are not included with the individual magazines.We do now have magazines 1-8 which come with the 'Glow in the Dark' skeleton parts and 9-18 come with the parts of the body, which can be painted any colour you like to bring the model to life. We have listed these as a group. We also have a complete collection of Swap cards in a 'Swap it' binder. These free gifts were attached to the magazines with sellotape so some of the issues have slight damage on the cover or a strip of sellotape stuck to the cover.
We have purchased some 3D glasses that can be used with these magazines. £1.45 a pair or free with orders of over 10 magazines.
