Hardback partwork version of the popular M/C series 1987
We try to avoid stocking hardbacks but this is an exception. Supercook is still a very popular reference work for serious cooks. Bound versions of the original magazine version (listed above) are now difficult to find in good condition. This hardback edition in 23 parts (white spine, beige covers) makes a welcome alternative. [please note, there's also a hb version in red covers with just 22 parts (the Index is merged with the last volume), listed separately]. There's even an edition with black spine and photos on the front cover, supposed to be in 26 volumes, but we've only ever seen the first three issues (which we do have in stock) and believe it was discontinued before completion.
We currently (August 2010) have two complete sets, both in good condition, plus many loose volumes. The number in brackets () after the title indicates availability, ignoring the full sets. If you don't see a basket against the book of your choice, that's probably because we've just sold it. Still worth asking, in case we have the red cover alternative or perhaps feel ready to break up a complete set.
